The yesteryear cult classic Baasha will hit the screens on 3 March. After 20 years, the flick will be re-released in theatres by Sathya Movies.
The cult classic gangster film was digitalised by its producer and former minister RM Veerappan.
Directed by Suresh Krissna, Baasha released in 1995 and went on to become a massive hit, in which Rajini played an auto driver with a deadly past.
Rajinikanth’s punch line ‘Naan oru dhadavai sonna, nooru dhadavai sonna maadhri!’ is still a hit among the masses.
Meanwhile, Sathya Movies has signed up with ‘Space Box Japan’ to screen the film across Japan.
Apart from that sources say there are business enquiries from Australia, UK, Sweden and few more countries as well to screen the movie.
The digitally restored trailer of the movie was out recently and managed to get lots of viewers on YouTube.
