The alleged molestation on actress Bhavana has rocked the entire film fertinity.
To show their support , Nadigar Sangam today shot a letter to Kerala Chief Minister seeking to speed up the investigation and put the culprits behind the bars.
In a letter been written by Nadigar Sangam president Nasser, a copy of which was released to the press, he said, ‘our association member Bhavana was molested by her own car driver and his associates on 17 February at midnight. We were shocked to know about this unruly behaviour and violent attitude of her own driver and his associates’.
He wrote, ‘One can understand that they have worked out a game plan and committed the act of abduction and molested with ulterior motive and intention to demure the reputation of our member’.
There is no safety and security for a popular celebrity woman in our State and country. The imagine the situation of an ordinary person. Hence we request the intervention of Kerala Chief Minister to intervene and speed up the investigation to book the culprits and put them behind bars in the interest of judiciary’.
Meanwhile addressing media persons in Pichavaram, general secretary of Nadigar Sangam Vishal, said, ‘It is sad to know that Bhavana was molested and made to suffer. I appreciate her courage to come out and speak in open’.
We have extended our full support to Kerala film body, who have taken up this issue, he added.
He stressed the need for strict action against those indulging in crime against women and children.
Meanwhile office-bearers of the Nadigar Sangam met the media and urged the authorities concerned to take tough action against the culprits.
