The audio of Kaatru Veliyidai is out. The tracks were released in a simple event with just a few cast and guests.
The CD was released in the presence of Air Force personnel Varthaman, who supported the crew in the technical aspects. Directed by Mani Ratnam, music for the film is by Mozart of Madras AR Rahman.
Speaking at the event Varthaman said, ‘There are a very few movies that have been made about Indian Air Force. I have extended my support to them’.
He also said this movie would be a great platform that will tell people about a 70 year old war India has been fighting since independence.
Heeping lawrels on A R Rahman, Mani Ratnam said, ‘AR Rahman stays with the same energy with which I met him for Roja. And now it’s been 25 years. Every time I pester him for songs all these 25 years and I will still do it for some more years’.
The lyricist Madhan Karky, Aditi Rao Hydari, actors Suriya, RJ Balaji and other cast and crew of the film were present.
