Production - Thirupathi Brothers Direction - Ponram Music - D. Imman Cast - Sivakarthikeyan, Keerthi Suresh, Samuthirakani and others Expectations ran sky high for Rajini Murugan. It was touted to be a laughathon that brought together Varuthapdtha Valibar Sangam team. With Sivakarthikeyan enjoying good patronage among children and women, obviously the movie managed to hit the bull's eye thanks to fun-filled moments. Directed by Ponram, Rajini Murugan stars Sivakarthikeyan, Keerthi Suresh, Soori and Rajkiran among others. Samuthirakani plays the baddie. Music is by D Imman and cinematography by Balasubramaniam. It is produced by Thirupparthy Brothers. After lying in the cans for a long time, comes Rajini Murugan. Splendid is the word right from the word go. Thoiugh it is a wafer-thin story, but the execution of events, catchy and funny dialogues and above all the amazing screen presence of Vishal makes it an entertainer. The way in which Sivakarthikeyan manages to keep it going deserves a special mention. Be it action, emotion or romance he is right there delivering his best. And above all watch out for his strength - comedy in almost every scene. Keerthy Suresh is a welcome addition. She is cute and bubbly. Soori is the best in the company of Sivakarthikeyan. He is awesome and amazing. Watch out for Rajkiran who plays a mety role and add enough emotion to the script. And Samuthirakani, whose role was initially shown as a comical nature slowly settles down to do a superb show. Rajini Murugan(Sivakarthikeyan) is a fun-loving youngster, whose spends time with his grandfather (Rajkiran), in Madurai.Rajini Murugan's close friend Thothathri(Soori) keep things fun under the sun. He falls in love with Karthika Devi (Keerthi), daughter of his uncle. The grand father wants toi sell his ancestoral property but enters Ezharai Mookan (Samuthirakani), a local dadha who extorts money from innocent people. He is a hurdle in Rajini Murugan's plans? What happens then forms the erst. Sivakathikeyan has arrived to the bisg stage. Superb show all through and three cheers to music composer D Imman for catchy songs and Balasubramaniam's splendid camera work. All said, Rajini Murugan is a splendid show.
