Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum Review

An action thriller which is produced by Gautham Menon. It is the carrying card for the movie that features Jai in a new avatar - that of an action hero. He is the flesh and blood of the movie with enough opportunity for him to showcase his other side of acting. The run time is exactly 112 minutes and there are enough romance action and humour elements to make it a wholesome entertainer. But the screenplay's weakness mars the show at most places. The movie is is about a medical scam and how the hero, who is a courier boy, fights against the same. Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum is directed by debutant Premsai. The movie has Santhanam as comedian and his team to pep up proceedings with laughter. Tamilselvan (Jai) stays with his uncle uncle (VTV) in Chennai. He searches for a job and comes across Kavya (Yami Gautham) and falls for her. And inspired by his fiend NASA (Santhanam), Tamilselvan takes up job as courirer boy. But troubles begin here for him. Tamilselvan A parcel with documents exposing medical mafia lands in his hands. He is searched by anti-socials. he runs for life and later exposes the same by putting an end to greedy medicos. Jai has done his part well, while Yami has limited opportunity. Santhanam's rib-tickling comedy saves movie at places. Asutosh Rana and Prem are passable. Though all there, there is feeling that the movie lacks steam. It meanders here and there before ending abrupt.
