Aishwaryaa Dhanush to make biopic on Mariyappan

This New Year was full of surprises from Kollywood. Among them was announcing Aishwaryaa R Dhanush's upcoming movie. Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Dhanush is making a biopic on none other than Paralympian gold medallist Mariyappan Thangavelu. The poster for this was unveiled by none other than Bollywood badsha Shah Rukh Khan. Launching the first look Shahrukh Khan wrote on Twitter, 'Here's presenting the first look of the biopic on #MariyappanThangavelu, our very own national hero, all the best @ash_r_dhanush.' Aishwarya has previously directed 3 and Vai Raja Vai. This time she has decided to direct a biopic on Indian Paralympic High Jump champion Mariyappan Thangavelu, who won Gold at 2016 Rio Paralympics. The dialogues of the movie will be penned by Raju Murugan of Cuckoo and Joker fame. Music will be by Sean Roldon. Dop will be by Verlraj and GK Prasanna will take care of the editing. The rest of the cast including the protogonist are yet to be announced.
