Kamal Haasan meets Raj Thackeray

Actor Kamal Haasan, who is currently in Mumbai for MAMI International Film Festival, chose to call on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief and nephew of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, Raj Thackeray at his residence in Kunj area in the city today. The sudden meeting between the two surprised many in the industry. However, sources close to the actor said that it was just a courtesy call. Both discussed about Indian cinema during the 25 minute meeting. Raj Thackeray was busy campaigning for Kalyan-Dombivilli municipal elections for the past few days. In spite his hectic schedule, he spent time with Kamal Haasan. It may be recalled that Kamal much recently called on spiritualist Sri Sri Ravishankar in Bengaluru.
