Why Dhanush chose Karthik Subbaraj ?

The news that actor Dhanush chose to act in Jigarthanda fame Karthik Subbaraj's next movie has surprised his fans.
When everyone was hoping that he would start Vada Chennai with Vettrimaran, one wonders why he chose Subbaraj.
Dhanush is currently shooting for the film Enai Noki Paayum Thota. The film is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
The actor is also awaiting the release of the political thriller Kodi and Prabhu Solomon's directorial venture Thodari.
Dhanush took to Twitter to share the news.
Dhanush tweeted, 'Glad to announce that I'm doing my new film with the very talented Karthick subburaj. Shoot in September. God bless'.
This would mean that Vada Chennai would be postyponed to next May.
