Jaya hails Susheela's feat

Legendary playback singer finding a mention in the Guinness Book of Records for singing maximum solo songs has won the appreciation of Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Jayalalithaa said, 'It gives me immense pleasure and joy to hear that singer P Susheela has created a Guinness record for singing the most number of songs.' Appreciating the hard work of the singer, she said, 'You have great interest in music and working hard all the time from your young age you have sung many thousand songs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. I feel very happy that you have not only sung for me, but also for my mother. Many films have received the much-needed attention due to your wonderful voice.' Also DMK chief M Karunanidhi and TMC chief G K Vasan appreciated her.
